New FWG game - comments welcome!

The jumping looks very weird. I guess the cooldown is because you'd use this to get out of a tight space. Fair enough. But why do the traps hurt me when I jump over them? Are they hurting me? Why do I see blood?

You still have your logo very prominently displayed inside the playing area. I will give you credit for learning not to make it clickable this time. I would actually prefer not to have it there at all. It's distracting, unnecessary, and subtracts from the mood of your game (dude with guns in a dark room shooting mummies + bright blue and green earth logo?). By the time this point in the game is reached it is clear whose game it is.

The enemies in the beginning - even on easy - take too many shots to kill and you fire too slowly. It's tedious unless you figure out to get the SMG right away.

Paying for weapons with health is a decent twist. I kind of like it. Although as you take damage your health bar appears to fill up with yellow and not decrease. The Stamina bar starts out filled up, it would be consistent to have the health bar filled up as well.

The introduction to the game includes a cutscene with loud, repeated gunshots, before I have the opportunity to turn the music off. Even after I've turned the music off during the game, if I die I am treated to loud, repeated gunshots again! It's really annoying. The gunshots are so much louder than anything else in the game! Open up Audacity or something and try to even things out.

I am probably not the target audience for this game... I found it decent, but slow, and too many more things annoyed me than I found interesting. But I hope you find some of these comments helpful in revising it (if that's your intention).

I actually liked the game. It has his good points. I only think it takes a little too long. And the chests how do they appear? When you've shooted several enemies or just in a few seconds?

Cause if it does in time you can just walk around and pickup the chests for a good score...

Anyways good game, hope to see it at clashflash.com soon too ;)!

thanks - only 10 chests appear per level - if you stop killing enemies, then no more chests will appear. So you have to fight to get your gold ; - )
